What is an internship? Avnet internships provide college students with comprehensive training and the opportunity to obtain and apply hands-on, value-added experiences in their respective field of study.
What kinds of internships are there at Avnet? Avnet offers paid summer internships, project based internships, part-time work opportunities and co-ops. As an Avnet Intern you will gain valuable hands-on training in an operating group that fits your degree program. Groups include sales, product marketing, supply chain, logistics, engineering services, IT or product management logistics.
Do I meet the minimum requirements for an Avnet Internship? Avnet internships are designed for students that have already declared their major. Minimum requirements at the time you apply include: current enrollment in an accredited University program, a declared major, junior/senior year status and legal authorization to work in the US.

Avnet is not affiliated with my University, can I still apply? Yes. Although Avnet has affiliations and partnerships with specific schools, we encourage students from all universities to apply to our internship program.
Are Avnet interns paid? Yes.
Does Avnet provide academic credit for interns? Yes, some of our programs can be applied towards college credits, as defined by your university.
