PHOENIX -- The results of the forth annual U.S. Design Engineer and Supplier Interface study by the Hearst Electronics Group and Channel Media & Marketing Research are in, and Avnet Electronics Marketing, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. The Hearst Electronics Group’s annual Design Engineer and Supplier Interface Study provides insight into the needs and perceptions of electronics engineers on industry products, services and supplier interaction. More than 1,000 electronics industry engineers participated in the study and ranked Avnet highest amongst its peers in five key areas, including “Well Informed Sales Representatives,” a rating Avnet has maintained for three consecutive years.

In addition to earning a best-in-class rating in a new category for Online Seminars, Technology Education and Training, engineers also rated Avnet highest for the second year in-a-row for: Knowledgeable Application Engineers; Online 24-hour Design Support; and Providing Design and Engineering Services.
